  • How old do I have to be to get a commercial drivers License?

    You must be 18 years old to hold a commercial driver license (CDL), and 21 to drive out of your licensed state.

  • What do I need to do to get my CDL?

    Have High School Diploma or GED. Get a DOT Physical. Pass a written test at the department of licensing (DOL) to obtain your CDL Have proof of residency. Permit by the end of the 1st week of class.

  • How long will it take to get my CDL?

    Class A is 4 weeks, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

    Class B is 3 weeks, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

    Upgrade to a Class A is 2 weeks, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
